01 About

Supply security is now strategic. We make it a strength.

Whether you build components in Europe or systems in Norway, the right counterpart is hard to find and harder to trust. Norwegian Defence Industry Partners is the Norwegian link that brings the two together, and stands behind it, from first introduction to qualified delivery.

As Europe rebuilds its defence capacity, dependable supply has become strategic. You gain a local, accountable partner who owns that link and carries the process end to end.

We act purely as an agent. We represent our suppliers under binding agreement and lead the commercial process on their behalf. We hold no stock, take no title and carry no guarantees. What you get is access, judgement and trust.

02 The opportunity

A growing market, already booked.

Norway is among NATO's fastest-growing defence markets, and the growth ahead is contracted, not hoped for. For a European supplier, that is years of booked component demand waiting on capacity the incumbents cannot supply alone.

European origin is now on the right side of the rules that matter. Under the EU's EUR 150bn SAFE instrument, at least 65% of component cost must originate in the EU, Ukraine or the EEA. A European producer represented through a Norwegian counterpart sits inside both local-content boundaries at once.

The opening is in the capacity-build phase, and that phase is now. Once production is underway, becoming a supplier is far harder. NDIP carries the qualification, clearance and quality work, so you capture the window while it is open.

03 What we do

Your route into Norway. Efficient and lasting.

You gain a structured, lasting presence in the Norwegian defence industry: one partner running the campaign from first approach to qualified, contracted delivery, and a single point of contact for the contractor.

Market access

A credible, present door into Norwegian primes and integrators you could not open cold.

Local representation

An in-country, Norwegian-language presence contractors can call, closing the distance that holds foreign suppliers back.

Specification & qualification

We translate the contractor's requirements, standards and qualification path so your product fits the first time.

Sales process leadership

Your campaign, run end to end: qualification, tender support, meetings, negotiation and follow-through.

Legal & commercial guidance

Clear guidance through Norwegian and EEA contracting norms, industrial-cooperation expectations and the export-control interface.

Quality assurance

We help you meet and evidence the quality and security regime the Norwegian buyer demands.

04 The value we create

Two sides, one trusted link.

We exist where a capable European supplier and a Norwegian contractor would both gain from working together, and need someone in Norway to make it happen.

For European suppliers

A way into a growing, demanding market

  • Reach one of NATO's fastest-rising defence markets without building a Norwegian presence from scratch.
  • Earn trust faster with credible local representation that shortens the path to first contract.
  • Run a led process: qualification, tendering and negotiation managed on your behalf.
  • Stay compliant across standards, security, quality and industrial-cooperation requirements.

Market entry you can put in front of your board.

For Norwegian defence contractors

High-quality European supply, de-risked

  • Tap vetted, NATO-experienced European suppliers, pre-qualified, not noise.
  • Add capacity and resilience when incumbent supply chains are stretched.
  • Save your teams time with de-risked introductions to sourcing and engineering.
  • Keep one accountable contact in Norway who owns the relationship and chases the issues.

Suppliers you can rely on, with documented benefits.

05 Our experience

Built for the defence sector, from the inside.

NDIP is led by partners who served in the Norwegian Armed Forces and have worked with Norway's leading defence and electronics companies, including Kongsberg and Kitron. That combination of service, industry and network is what we bring to every engagement.

Defence forces

Service and trust

Both partners served in the Norwegian Armed Forces' Military Police and are security-cleared. We understand the sector's standards of discretion, integrity and trust, and operate to them.

Industry & capital

How suppliers and deals work

Experience spanning private equity and Norwegian industry, and the technology and security sector, including a leading Norwegian defence-electronics manufacturer. We know buyers, suppliers and how value is built.

Network & access

Doors others cannot open

An extensive Norwegian network, with membership of leading defence-industry associations and invite-only dual-use networks and events. The relationships that turn introductions into business.

Cleared, connected and credible. A defence-forces foundation, real industrial and investment experience, and a live network across the Norwegian defence and dual-use community. The three things you need in a Norwegian partner.

06 Robust governance

Governance is not our overhead. It is our product.

A paid intermediary in defence is the most scrutinised role in business ethics. We built for that from the first day: a documented governance, vetting and anti-corruption framework that lets a contractor's compliance team see the work, not just take our word for it.

Anchored

Recognised standards

Built to ISO 37001 anti-bribery, NATO AQAP and ISO 9001 quality, ISO 27001 cyber and the Norwegian Transparency Act. These are standards your compliance function already knows.

Structured

Seven domains, one gate

Every supplier passes the same vetting and anti-corruption gate before you meet them, under one governing policy and a three-lens risk method where every control traces to a named risk.

Transparent

Evidence on request

Our remuneration is disclosed, our introductions documented and our policies published. Separation of duties means no supplier is cleared on one person's judgement.
